Did you know that the prairie once covered almost half of the United States? Travelers 200 years ago called it a “sea of grass” because the tall prairie grasses and wildflowers swayed in the breeze like the waves on the ocean.
Hop on out to Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge to learn all about the frogs and toads of North Texas through crafts, stories, games, and a “toad-ally” awesome hike to see if we can spot some of our amphibian friends in the wild.
