January 11, 2022 @ 6:30 am - 7:30 pm
FreeNatalie Bauman to speak at Grayson County Historical Society meeting
Our first meeting of the year is January 11, 2022 with our guest speaker Natalie Bauman giving us her program on Ghost Stories.
Natalie is the author of many books. She has so far written a couple of dozen Grayson County history books and Bible lesson books including The Many Faces of Texoma’s Red River, Quantrill’s Raiders in North Texas including the James Gang and The Last Day and the Revelation Unveiled, just to name a few.
Natalie is a graduate of the Brown Trail Church of Christ preacher’s wives School of Preaching in 1992 and has an accounting degree from Grayson College. She has taught Bible classes to children and adult women all her adult life, from her local congregation to area-wide seminars. Also Natalie is the program director of the NSDAR of Pottsboro.
Natalie’s books are available at Amazon and Etsy, at local venues locally and on the author’s Facebook page “Natalie Clountz Bauman – Author” and “Pottsboro Texas History“. Natalie does historical speeches for groups, living history demonstrations and has been a historical columnist for the Pottsboro Sun newspaper.
We have asked Natalie to bring her books so we may have the pleasure of purchasing if desired.
To make it easier, all memberships are due at the beginning of the new year. For one the dues are $15 and $25 for the family.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your continued membership and support to the GCHS.
The society meets in the Judge R.C. Vaughan Community Room of the museum at Grayson County Frontier Village at Loy Lake. The Park is located midway between Sherman and Denison off Hwy. 75, Exit 67. Meetings are open to members and their guests.
