Our 4th of July Boat Parade and Party is back!
We’re giving away over $1000 in prizes for the best 4th of July themed decorated boat in our Boat Parade and best 4th of July costume/outfit at our 4th of July party at The Point Restaurant!
When is the Parade: Saturday July 1st from 4pm – 7pm and Sunday July 2nd from 1pm – 2pm
When is the Party: July 2, 2023 at 3pm at The Point Restaurant. Winners will be announced, and prizes will be given.
Where to Register: Register between now and July 1 at 3pm at our Marina office, The Grandpappy Fuel Dock, Little Mineral Resort & Marina’s office, or Mill Creek Resort & Marina’s office. More details will be given upon Registration.
What do I do: Decorate your boat for Independence Day however you like! Bunting, flags, floats, if you can pull it off, we want to see!
How am I judged for the boat parade: You will be judged Saturday or Sunday of 4th of July weekend Slowly drive by The Point Restaurant between 4pm – 7pm on Saturday July 1st, or from 1pm – 2pm on Sunday July 2nd.
How am I judged for best outfit at the party: Wear your best 4th of July costume/outfit to the party on Sunday at 3pm to be judged.
What will I win: Prizes will be awarded for the most patriotically decorated boat. First place will win a $500 gift card to The Point Restaurant, Second place wins a $250 gift card to The Point Restaurant, and Third place will get a $100 gift card to The Point.
Best 4th of July costume/outfit will be awarded and First place will win a $100 gift card to The Point Restaurant, Second place wins a $50 gift card to The Point Restaurant, and Third place will get a $25 gift card to The Point.
*You do not have to be present on Sunday July 2nd to win the boat parade, but you do have to be present to win best 4th of July costume/outfit.
*We are family friendly business, and this is a fun, family friendly event, any profanity or non-family friendly themes will disqualify any participant from both contests.
