Father Son Camp Out

It’s time to make those memories with Dad. Bring the camping gear, and we will supply the fire, hot dogs, hiking, and games at the Father Son Camp Out. Fathers and sons will camp underneath the stars and next to the lake at Herman Baker Park. Activities will include a nature hike around the lake, lazer tag, and of course hot dogs and s’mores. Each group will just need to bring a tent, something to sleep on, and outdoor clothes. Everything else will be provided by the parks department.
Tents can start setting up as early as 5PM. We will have a fire going and participants can cook their own hots dogs beginning at 6PM. The event will end at 8:30AM with a doughnut breakfast.
This event is 1 of 4 gender specific events that the City of Sherman Parks and Recreation Department host. Please allow us to continue offering these 4 events, by adhering to the designated genders.
