Georgetown Baptist Church Nativity Live – Pottsboro

NativityLive 2024 starts December 5th, 2024, from 6 – 8pm at Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro.

This year’s production will be held December 5, 6, 7 and 12. 13. 14 from 6-8 pm.  Time periods are filling up fast!  Register at https://georgetownbaptistchurch.eventsmart.com/

The event is free and open to the public! Be sure to print ticket(s) and bring with you on the day of your reservation.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your reserved time. Groups and busses can be accommodated.

• There will be limited parking available at Georgetown for handicap, disabled and families with young children

• Seating is available on the Journey from the Inn to the manger!

Journey back to biblical times and experience an outdoor production that is sure to bring you some Christmas spirit.  After arriving, you will check in with the Bethlehem census takers who will direct you to the city market area where you will have the opportunity to see life as it might have been in 1st century Bethlehem. There you will find a blacksmith, candle makers, basket weavers and much more.

Your “Journey” will begin as you proceed to the Bethlehem Inn and sense the emotions of that first Christmas night when Mary and Joseph were desperate to find lodging but to no avail.  As you follow the tired couple to the manger you will encounter various players in the Christmas story, namely Herod, the shepherds and the wise men, and of course baby Jesus.
