Second Saturday at Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge on Lake Texoma

Rick Lynn will provide a basic overview of the rock formations and fossils of Grayson County as well as an overview of the major aquifers in Texas and Grayson County. He will bring samples of some of the mineral and rocks to share with the audience.

Rick Lynn is a Professor of Geology and Science Department Chair at Grayson College. He attended New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology where he received his Masters Degree in Geology. He received his bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Arlington.
